Aside with bookmarks, events objects could be stored. Something like:
- date (start)
- end (optional)
- title
- url (optional)
- description (optional)
- place (optional)
- related people (optional)
- tags
On the web side, some microformats can be useful, and maybe a calendar view... or just a filter to see only bookmarks, events or people...
